So Don't Shoot Me

I know I have been an extreme slacker not posting for four months, but I have done several posts to catch up. I haven't posted because my pictures now are solely on my iPhone, but I haven't been able to upload them to my computer for some reason. Well, during General Conference I decided to finally work with it and get it figured out. It took all day to upload all 450 pictures I had taken since the last time I uploaded. So here they are, although I know that most of you are on Facebook and have seen these pictures when they were taken, they are here now and hopefully someday will be printed in to a blog book. So don't shoot me and just enjoy my catch up and hopefully I can still find the time to blog once or twice a month. We shall see.....

Half of April 2014

For YW, we took the Beehives and Deacons to DI and the girls picked out clothes for the boys and vice versa and then we had a fashion show. It was pretty chaotic, but I think everyone had fun. And we got it done in less than an hour! It was fun to see the silly personalities we have and to remember when I did this for a date in high school before a dance.
A picture of the first time Mark crawled! We were just sitting there chatting and suddenly Mark saw Sam's Captain America shield and went for it! We were amazed!
Another beautiful day when we were able to be outside in the sunshine enjoying the bubble machine (best investment ever!!)
I was sitting on the couch and suddenly I realized it was rather quiet. I looked for Mark and couldn't see him right away. I look around the couch to see him gently banging his head on the coffee table and trying to pull himself up to stand.
This is how I found Mark sleeping one day, no joke! His face is buried, one sock gone, and on his tummy and turned from where I laid him for his nap. Good thing he's contained or else who knows where he'd end up!
We went to a kids play place called Blast Off with our friends the other day. It turned out to be a really cool place with tubes, slides, ball pits, and a huge dress up/pretend play area and Sam found this awesome Stitch costume.
Mark was having a great time pulling himself up just enough to see Amy, and then falling back down. Over and over again.
Mark LOVED playing with Brad & Elaine's (Robert's aunt and uncle who host a family dinner once a month) dog, Melody.
We colored Easter Eggs this week. And then promptly ate them for dinner.
And we colored Easter eggs with crayons and glitter glue.

March 2014

Being silly with Mommy's phone one day
Mark loves being held, esp by his siblings!

 Who needs a gym?
Making rainbow sugar cookies with friends
This kid always sleeps with his hands behind his head like he's chillin'

We had a few really nice days where we could get out and play. Sam is getting really excited to try baseball this summer instead of soccer.
We had an airplane crash in the fields behind our house one Sunday morning. This is when they were trying to haul it away, but then ran in to the problem of the wings being too wide to get between power poles - oops!
 Almost ready to crawl!
 Sacked out
Trying french fries for the first time - who doesn't love them?
Me and the kids went to Washington for Spring Break and loved getting to spend time with the Potter kids again - we sure do miss them!!
Mark loved the hardwood floors! He would gently bang his forehead over and over on the floor. Silly kid!
The group we went with the the first ever General Women's Conference for women and girls ages 8 and up.
My nieces and sister. These girls had three aunts, a grandma, and a cousin be able to come with them to this historic meeting.

 Loves!
Sam and Caleb were like two peas in a pod! Just goes to show age isn't everything.
All the kids piled on the couch.....and Uncle Ben :)

February 2014

We went sledding on an awesome hill over by Ucon and the kids had a blast!

Sam pulled his own tooth out because "it was bothering me". Oh this kid!
He was a little mad at me
Robert is tired of the kids asking him every week in church to fold the program in to paper airplanes, so this particular Sunday he found an app that taught the kids how to fold their own :)
The adorable hats that Robert's grandma crocheted for the kids for Christmas
 More sleeping pictures
1:00 church has been really tough for this little gal because that is right during naptime
Helping Mommy in the kitchen is one of her favorite things right now.
One afternoon I decided to take the kids to the Rexburg temple so they could touch the temple and we walked around it and talked about what temples are for, etc. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.
 Playing at the park.
Having our friends, the Potters, over for a Frozen movie night

January 2014

 Mark fell asleep this way
Super happy kid at Oma & Opa's house
 Oma and Mark snuggling
 Everything goes in the mouth!
The kids were thrilled to find Santa had left them a "boy kitchen" (or as Amy says it, a "boy chicken") at our house. Sam asked specifically for a boy kitchen so that Daddy would allow it :)
Sam trying out his playdoh launcher and brick-maker he got for Christmas.
I love the places these kids fall asleep!
I got to do a Frozen cake the week before Sam's birthday. I was definitely proud of this cake, especially since I had not seen the movie!
Sam wanted a Lego/Ninjago cake for his birthday, so I made the face of one of the Ninjago guys (you will have to ask him what the name of the green guy is, because I have no idea!)
I was so excited when I found these superheroes for free! You printed, cut, folded, and glued them (which took way longer than you would think). They were pretty cool and worked well as our targets when we had "Weapons practice" at Sam's party.
A group pic of the kids that came for Sam's birthday party. They had a lot of fun! I decided to do a Superhero Training Academy theme. They decorated their superhero licenses, did laser training, strength training, a memory game, and then we ended with weapons practice :) (sometimes I can be a cool Mom ;))
The kids on a Kubota for Uncle Jake (who now works for Kubota in California) at the Potato Expo in Pocatello.
We went to Flips one day with our friends. A local gym with slides, tramps, and a foam pit.
 Early morning in Mommy's bed
The kids showing the aprons I made for them to go with their play kitchen.
Potter friends with Paco. He is a friend the kindergarten kids get to take turns taking home for a week and they journal about the experiences they have while Paco is at home with them. We tried to do lots of fun and different activities while Paco was with us like sledding and eating Aebleskivers.
